What is Ryeli Taps?

What is Ryeli?

This is a mix of Ryan + Nayeli. Nayeli is my biggest supporter and inspiration, and we’ve always playfully referred to ourselves as “Ryeli,” so it only felt right to bring that into the business too, representing the love and care I’ve put into it.

What is Ryeli Taps?

Nayeli and I are both Peruvian (me half, her full), which inspired the nods to Peru throughout the brand, including our mascot, Lolo the Llama, who I brought back with me from Peru.

What is Ryeli Taps?

As for Ryeli Taps, the whole idea started after I saw a tap trailer on YouTube and instantly fell in love with the concept. I’ve always been mechanically inclined, so naturally my first thought was “I could totally build that” and then it all took off from there.

I started working on my own tap trailer, but the idea quickly shifted into what became my first major woodworking project - the Ryeli Taps tap wall. It took me roughly six months to build in my mom’s garage, which she was kind enough to let me commandeer for basically that entire time.

A lot of love, trial and error, and probably (definitely) way too many hours went into the build. I wanted something elegant and clean enough for a wedding, but still fun and approachable enough for a backyard party or casual gathering.

Why should you put your event on tap?

Ryeli Taps is all about putting your event on tap. Our tap equipment brings a unique twist to mobile beverage service, whether its craft nonalcoholic drinks, beer, cocktails, wine, cider, or something totally custom. Our goal is to provide great drinks and a memorable setup that make your guests go “wait, that’s so cool!”. Hearing those reactions from you or your guests, are the moments that make it all worth it for me.

How to put your event on tap:

If you’re planning an event, hit Get a Quote and you’ll get in touch directly with me, Ryan. We can go over your event, what you have in mind, and figure out a setup that makes sense for you.

By the way - if you ever want to see the equipment in action, or taste some drink options, come find us at local markets around Albuquerque (you can find our market schedule on Instagram). That’s where we serve our own nonalcoholic drink menu, all of which are available for private events too, along with plenty more.
